Revised Photography & Art Website

This is a new website that I am using to restart my creative endeavors in the areas of photography and art. I have also started to go through and thoroughly review, re-assess and re-edit any and all of the many photos I have taken over the years. I have had a habit of taking many photos and then doing little to nothing with them. We’ll see if I can do better this time.

I am also intending to take a more story based approach to my images. The intent is to provide some context to everything I share. Photography (and art in general) can be much more than just capturing or creating great images; it can provide a great medium for telling our stories. Capturing moments in time and place. If we don’t provide more about the story behind the images, there will come a point in time where someone comes across our images and there is no one left that remembers the who, what, where, and why of what we’ve left behind. The story is a part of the work that leaves the work incomplete if it is not communicated also.

Off we go to a new adventure. We’ll see how far I get…
